INTRODUCTION

YOUR ROLE IN eSTUDENT SUCCESS
CPCC has developed and adopted a set of Online Teaching Competencies that specify the skills and behaviors an instructor must consistency exhibit while teaching an online class.
The Competencies are divided into three major categories:
Technical: Prove fluency in technology to begin and manage educational content for online learning and engagement
Pedagogical: Provide, promote and encourage a learning environment that is safe, inviting, and mutually respectful.
Present multiple opportunities for student learning and success
Administrative: Provide a clear and efficient online learning environment by using digital tools manage all species of course design and delivery
Technical competencies are developed and sufficiently demonstrated before enrolling into Your Role in eStudent Success.
Your Role in eStudent Success is designed to help faculty develop and demonstrate the administrative and pedagogical competencies. Each course level objective/learning outcome addresses one or more of the Competencies.
