TEACH ONLINE
PART 1 Learning Objectives
-
Associate stages of group development theory to team work for online learners
-
Identify recommended ADA (The American Disabilities Act) practices used to create online courses for all learners
-
Explore ways to use WebEx as a means to construct interaction/engagement
This course has helped me realize that we are in a new age of online learning. It is imperative that as an instructor, I design learning activities that are the most beneficial for conveying the information- not just the most convenient for students to complete. Additionally, I have developed the awareness that the skills that students learn in the online classroom (such as netiquette, how to use a Wiki, or how to log-in to an online session) are skills that will be used in today's workforce.
