The purpose of this course is to identify effective applications of online teaching that help guide student success, encourage a respectful learning environment and present engaging content in an online class.
Faculty should successfully pass this course prior to teaching online for Central Piedmont Community College.
CPCC has developed and adopted a set of Online Teaching Competencies that specify the skills and behaviors an instructor must consistently exhibit while teaching an online class.
