TEACH ONLINE
PART 2 Learning Objectives
-
Identify strategies for student and faculty engagement
-
Appraise which Blackboard tools are useful for instructors
-
Recognize ways to activate learning/engagement in online courses
After completing this course I am more prepared for online teaching...I was able to discover that every teaching and learning activity developed in a traditional F2F classroom can be done in online environment. I discovered that there are a variety of tools and strategies that can be implemented in online courses that allow the instructor to encourage students to engage in learning centered activities. I am planning to use new techniques and strategies such as the ones in this course to increase the student and instructor engagement.
