Creating a Course for ALL Learners
The CPCC student body represents ALL learners. In the design and development of courses, instructors must ensure their role in eStudent Success takes into account all learner styles and ability.
To comply with the ADA (The American Disabilities Act), take steps to do the following in your course:

Add videos with closed-captioning

Add transcripts to audios

Use font that is at least 12 point, non-decorative, with consistent style and organization

Use self-describing, meaningful text for Hyperlinks (ex. "Links opens in a new tab" or "Download the syllabus")

Add title and description to images
-
Use contrasting colors and avoid busy backgrounds

At CPCC, you must add the ADA statement to your syllabus
